Lake Overview

Living on Moraine Lake

Moraine Lake is a shallow, quiet lake ringed by homes, a good fit for kayaks and fishing. In 2004, residents petitioned for dredging, weed control and dam work, and the township created a Lake Improvement Board (2007 Lake Moraine feasibility study).

Brighton Township & Schools

Moraine Lake is in Brighton Township. Brighton Township waterfront listings I checked in October 2026 were split among Brighton Area Schools, Howell Public Schools and Hartland Consolidated Schools, with a mix of septic and sewer, so I confirm the district and utilities for every address.
