Hamburg Township waterfront homesAll my lake guides
Gut Lake, also called Pleasant Lake, sits directly south of Winans Lake in Hamburg Township, Livingston County (MichiganLakes.com), about 23.3 miles from downtown Fenton. The DNR's boating rule calls it Gill/Gut Lake (Michigan DNR Livingston County watercraft controls). It's not the Pleasant Lake in Marion Township. When I checked in October 2026, my site had no Gut Lake homes for sale, so the button above shows all Hamburg Township waterfront homes, and I'm happy to set up a saved search just for Gut Lake.
Gut Lake is a small, slow-no wake lake, so it suits kayaks, paddleboards, fishing and quiet evenings on the dock more than skiing. State rules also ban hunting with or firing a firearm on or over the lake (Michigan Admin. Code R 317.147.8).
Gut Lake homes are in Hamburg Township. Hamburg Township waterfront homes on my site today are in Pinckney Community Schools or Brighton Area Schools, so I confirm the district and utilities for every address.
Is Gut Lake the same as Pleasant Lake?
Yes, in Hamburg Township. MichiganLakes.com lists it as Pleasant Lake, also known as Gut Lake.
Can I water-ski on Gut Lake?
No. The whole lake is slow-no wake (Michigan DNR rule WC-47-98-002).
How big is Gut Lake?
About 32 acres in DNR data (Michigan's Named Inland Lakes, DNR data via MLSA).
