• Size: about 24 acres in DNR data (Michigan's Named Inland Lakes, DNR data via MLSA); EGLE MiEnviro inland lakes mapping shows about 23 acres, and MichiganLakes.com lists 21 acres with depths of 33 feet.
• Boating: I didn't find a Michigan DNR local watercraft control naming Dibrova Lake (Michigan DNR Livingston County watercraft controls).
• Public access: I didn't find a published public boat launch for Dibrova Lake. Ask me, and we'll confirm what applies to a specific home.
• Shoreline: Microsoft building-footprint map data shows about 34 buildings near the shore.

Living on Dibrova Lake

Dibrova Lake is a short drive from US-23 and downtown Brighton. It shares its name with Dibrova, a rustic woodland near Brighton that the Dibrova Ukrainian Association calls a summer refuge for five generations, where thousands have swum, picnicked and camped.

Green Oak Township & Schools

Dibrova Lake is in Green Oak Township, with Brighton mailing addresses. Green Oak Township is split among school districts, and its waterfront homes on my site today are in Brighton Area Schools, South Lyon or Whitmore Lake schools, so I confirm the district and utilities for every address.

Tips for Buyers

• Understand riparian rights. Michigan waterfront ("riparian") owners generally have rights to dock and reach the water (EGLE inland lakes guide). "Lake privileges" or a shared lot is different, so read the deed and any easement.
